BEATDiabetes is not currently enrolling new participants in any of its programs.
Here's how heartBEAT can help you build heart-healthy habits.
TIPS
Practical tips on diet, exercise, and living a heart healthy lifestyle will be delivered to you by text 3-5 times a week. The tips will focus on small, doable changes that can add up to big improvements in your overall health.
REMINDERS
With busy lives, it is easy to get sidetracked and forget to take medicine or monitor your health. heartBEAT gives you the ability to schedule customized text message reminders to take medication, exercise, check blood sugars, or monitor blood pressure.
MOTIVATION
If you could use a little extra encouragement, heartBEAT will send you general motivational messages or a personal motivational message you design yourself. To make getting healthy more fun, there will be monthly heartBEAT contests that can qualify you to win prizes.
This 6-month program is available for FREE to people from
participating clinics and community programs.
